Hearts of Oak striker Sam Yeboah claims Kenichi Yastuhashi is the best coach he has worked with in his career.
The 29-year-old, who won the league’s top scorer 12 seasons ago, was signed by the Japanese manager from Heart of Lions and has scored twice so far.
Hearts battled relegation throughout last season but have enjoyed one of their best starts in the premier league this term after going unbeaten in four games, recording three victories in the process.
“To be honest, I think Kenichi is the best manager I have ever worked with,” Yeboah toldGraphic Sports. “His relationship with the players, both on and off the field, is fantastic.
“From the way things are going, I think he is the right man for the job and I believe he can make Hearts a fearsome side [by winning the league],” he added.
Hearts will travel to Tema to lock horns with city rivals Inter Allies, and Yeboah is optimistic his side will claim the maximum points at stake despite the artificial turf on which the meeting will be held.
“We are fully focused on what we have to do and that is to win against Inter Allies. I have played on different pitches outside this country and I know how to cope with every situation,” he said.
Hearts are currently leading the log with 10 points, two points clear off second-placed Wa All Stars after four games.
