Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is in confident mood ahead of commencement of the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The topflight, originally scheduled to begin last December, had to be delayed until now due to a series of legal challenges and disciplinary tussles among clubs.
However, with the league all but ready to resume, the frontman is looking forward to propelling his club to higher heights.
“Now that all is out of the way, I am looking forward to playing in the Ghana Premier League once again and I am ready to help the club win laurels this season,” Yahaya told Ghana Football News.
“I came to meet some wonderful players here and during the transfer window, the management added more good players to the team.
“This is a sign of a serious team and I am confident that we will do well in the competitions.
“This season, we will not like to talk too much. The pitch will do the talking.”
Yahaya makes a comeback to the Ghana Premier League following a brief career with Libyan side Al-Ittihad, having previously been on the books of Tema Youth and Asante Kotoko.
He also featured for Ghana at the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa.
Aduana begin their 2015-16 league adventure with an away trip to Tema-based Inter Allies on Sunday.
