Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has insisted that the club intend to keep Brazil superstar Neymar at the Camp Nou until he retires.
The forward has been surprisingly linked with a move to Manchester United this week with reports suggesting a bid of £240 million was being prepared at Old Trafford.
But Bartomeu is adamant that Barcelona are determined to keep the forward in Catalonia despite any interest from United or elsewhere.
“We do not want Neymar to leave,” the Blaugrana supremo told Radio Catalunya.
“He is young and we want him to retire here at our club.
“We will discuss Neymar’s renewal in some months’ time as he must stay here – not only for the next three seasons, but for the next five or 10.”

Bartomeu’s quotes come after coach Luis Enrique dismissed speculation regarding Neymar after Barcelona’s La Liga opener on Sunday.
“Talking about Neymar and other clubs doesn’t interest me,” Enrique said.
“I don’t talk about rumours. I focus on what happens in my team.”
Neymar established himself at the Camp Nou with 39 goals from 51 appearances last season, forming a devastating three-pronged attack with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
