It has been a whirlwind 12 months at the King Power following Leicester City’s astonishing relegation escape at the back end of last season.
Following the appointment of former Greece national team boss Claudio Ranieri, Leicester were tipped to struggle once again, with odds of 5000-1 for them to somehow lift the Premier League title.
However, the experienced Italian has proved all doubters wrong to lead the Foxes to within just one victory of a historic league success and win over a fanbase that provides nothing but positive energy for the team.
Ranieri has become an icon inside one year at the club, with plans in place to name a road in his honour at the end of the campaign.
The former Chelsea boss has been quick to swat away praise from pundits and onlookers alike all season, instead being eager to talk up his own players, but became visibly emotional after being shown a video of support from the Leicester faithful.
He begins the clip claiming he didn’t want to hear what the fans thought of him but completely changed his mind just two minutes later, asking if he could take the video home. Truly heatwarming.
