David Accam scored a sublime goal as his side Chicago Fire claimed a 2-0 victory over Brimstone Cup rivals FC Dallas .
The Ghana international opened the scoring in the 4th minute after Jason Johnson found Accam with a brilliant through ball, and the Ghanaian beat Matt Hedges at the top corner of the box before threading a low shot past Dan Kennedy from a tight angle.
With five minutes to the end of the game, Chicago earned itself a penalty to win some breathing room. Kellyn Acosta tripped Accam on the very edge of the box, and Shaun Maloney ripped the spot-kick home for a 2-0 lead.
