Usain Bolt confirms Rio Olympics participation

Organisers of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics have been given a huge boost this Monday, as it was confirmed that Usain Bolt will be competing in the games.

An injury scare had meant that the world’s fastest man had been in danger of missing the event, but he has now been given the all clear after recovering well.

The six-time Olympic gold medalist will be aiming to become champion another three times, competing in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay with his compatriots for Jamaica.
