U-17 & U-20 DRAW SET FOR DEC. 21

The Confédération Africaine de Football announces that draw for the final tournaments of the African U-17 Championship Niger 2015 and Orange U-20 Championship Senegal 2015 will take place on Sunday, 21 December 2014.

 

The draws will be held at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt at 11H00 local time (09H00 GMT).

 

The qualified teams for the African U-17 Championship are Niger (hosts), Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia.

 

The final tournament will take place 15 February to 1 March next year in Niger.

 

For the Orange U-20 Championship, the qualified teams are Senegal (hosts), Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia.

 

The final tournament will be held from 8-22 March 2015 in Senegal.

 

Meanwhile, the semi-finalists during the two championships will represent the continent at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile and New Zealand respectively.
