Ghana international Thomas Teye Partey scored in the Spanish La Liga for his Atletico Madrid team on Saturday as they thrashed Real Betis at home.
Thomas Partey did not start the game for his Madrid side but was introduced with 20 minutes to the end of regulation time to score the last of five for Atletico.
Fernando Torres opened the scoring of the game against Real Betis after 37 minutes of play with Antoine Griezmann adding a second to take the home team 2-0 up into the break.
Juanfran made it 3-0 after the break before Ruben Castro pulled one back for away team Real Betis.
Antoine Griezmann continued the scoring spree for Atletico Madrid to grab his brace before Ghanaian player Thomas Teye Partey scored the last for Atletico to earn them a 5-1 victory over Real Betis.
Thomas Teye Partey has not been playing much for the Spanish La Liga outfit after returning from an injury a few weeks before the international break. The player has however been on the bench a few times for Diego Simeone’s side since his injury return.
