Ghana Premier League side Techiman City FC landed their second sponsorship deal on Thursday with Samara Company Limited.
Techiman signed a one-year deal with the company worth $50,000, which comes after their earlier $350,000 sponsorship agreement from Nasona Oil.
They are now one of the clubs with the biggest sponsorship deals in the top-flight.
President and bank-roller of the club, Charles Kwadwo Nti believes this will be a massive motivation for the club in their bid to maintain their premier league status at the end of the campaign.
“Honestly, I’m happy with the sponsorship package from Samara Company,” Nti told Goal.
“Not every club has gotten the opportunity to have such opportunities to sign two big sponsorships especially when the league is now without a title sponsor.
“Everything is on course and we will achieve our set goals by the end of the season,” he added.
Techiman were found guilty of match fixing against Wa African United en route to qualification in the second-tier league but have placed a stay-off execution on the ruling and will participate in the league while the appeal runs concurrently.
They will open their campaign against regional rivals Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Ameyaw Park on February 21.
