Ex-Black Stars forward and now coach, Tanko Ibrahim has hailed the talents in the Ghana Premier League adding club owners must pay their players well in order to curb player exodus.
The Ghanaian top-flight can boast of great talents but the massive exodus of players due to low wage been paid by local clubs has tremendously affected the league.
However, Tanko who is currently in Ghana, monitoring the ongoing league has made certain observation as he has hailed the talents in the domestic top-flight championship.
“To be frank there are talents in the Ghana League. When people say the league is bad, it is not. Teams must look out for sponsorship and pay the players well and they will get the best from players. Ghana’s league is one of the best in Africa,” he told Starr FM.
Tanko before returning to Ghana was an assistant coach to Volke Vinke at Cameroon from 2013 to 2016.
