    By Kofi Ampon Gyasi

The Stallions of Burkina faso this evening drew with the indomitable lions of Cameroon in the second Group A fixture of the on-going AFCON in Gabon. Lorient attacker  Benjamin Moukandjo put the Cameroonians ahead with a  free kick just after 35minutes.

However as the game progressed the stallions grew more in confidence and as a result rallied and earned a deserved share of the points in the 75th minute through Issoufou Dayo,s close range header.

Now the group is widely open as all four teams have just a point from their opening games. the stallions will then be playing against host nation Gabon in four days time, whiles Cameroon will be playing Guinea Bissau later that same day.
