Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye says his side have nothing to fear ahead of Monday’s Ghana Premier League fixture against fierce rivals Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 36-year-old spent seven seasons with Kotoko between 2007 and 2014 before crossing the carpet.
Hearts, unlike their visitors Kotoko, have enjoyed a perfect start to the season, as they currently sit second on the log with 18 points.
Soulama insists that their recent results prove they have what it takes to come out with a victory and clean sheet.
“As a goalkeeper, you can only hope for the best and keep a clean sheet in games,” Soulama told Happy FM. “But come Monday, I know we are going to carry the day and make our fans happy.
“Football is unpredictable and at times the best team loses but I am very sure that we will go on to win especially with our recent performances in the season,” he added.
Hearts are yet to lose a game in their five league outings but have failed to defeat Kotoko at home for the past seven seasons.
