Ebusua Dwarfs coach J.E Sarpong says his team are determined to survive the upcoming campaign and probably eye the league title in subsequent seasons.
The Cape Coast-based side were promoted to the top-flight in a fashionable style after being relegated three seasons ago.
“We want to maintain our premiership status when the season comes to an end. We are not looking at wining any trophy at the moment but to remain in the league,’’ Sarpong told TV3.
“We will think of winning laurels in the season ahead but for now, it’s important that we maintain our premiership status,’’ he added.
Dwarfs won Zone Two of the division one league last season after amassing 70 points, eight points ahead of Elimina Sharks who were highly tipped to qualify due to their sound financial backing.
Dwarfs will lock horns with the league’s new boys Dreams FC in their opening fixture of the season on February 21.
