Disgruntled erstwhile Chief Executive for Brong Ahafo United, Roy Arthur has seized the club’s jerseys and the registration cards of their players as they prepare for their clash on Sunday against Accra Hearts of Oak in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
Arthur was sacked by the club’s board last week through a text message, following their 1-4 mauling by the league leaders Ashgold at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
The young businessman who claims to have bought all the jerseys for the club with his personal money and also signed all the players from his own pocket has decided to keep the jerseys as well as the registration cards of the players he signed.
Allsports.com.gh understands that Roy Arthur was given a one year contract to manage B.A United and was told to run the club with his personal money, but when there is any profit, he should take 80% and inject the 20% into the club.
However, B.A United have had poor results throughout the season, hence are lying at the bottom of the league, necessitating the sack of Arthur before the end of the season.
If the Apostles of Power Soccer fail to persuade their former CEO, who is bitter for being sacked in a disrespectful manner to release the cards and the jerseys, they might forfeit the three points against Hearts of Oak.
