For bookable offences in a football game, we have seen it all. From elbows to high foot studs, referees have followed the rules to show their cards for bad behaviour.
There is also a green card for good behaviour now as exhibited in Italy recently.
The card showing game however took a different twist in South Africa when Baroka FC took on Plat Stars in the PSL.
Sipho Moeti was shown a yellow card for showing too much skills in the game.
The Baroka midfielder during the game did some step overs, dancing with the ball and touching with his knees.
His actions did not go down well with the match day referee who whistled for a foul before booking Sipho Moeti.
The player has asked his Baroka FC team to appeal.
