Newly elected president of the Republic of Ghana, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated Isaac Asiamah as the minister designate for Youth and Sports.
The young enthusiastic member of parliament for Atwima Mponua constituency, Isaac Asiamah’s appointment hasn’t come as a surprise, having served as a member of the parliamentary select committee for sports for the past years.

And also contributed immensely to the passing of the long awaited sports bill by parliament.
Asiamah will replace Nii Lantey Vanderpuye whose mandate as sports minister ended on the 6th January, 2017.
His first task is to lead the Black Stars for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon which starts on 14th January.
