Premiership sides to face Division One clubs in Elite Cup third round

The third round of the Elite Clubs Cup Competition will see Premier League sides taking on Division One clubs who have qualified into this stage of competition.

This stage will be the first time the topflight clubs will be participating in the novelty competition which was introduced into the Ghana premier league last month.

Amongst the clubs who have qualified this stage of the competition include Bolga Allstars who defeated Wa Africa United by a 3-4 aggregate and Utrecht who beat Real Tamale United by 6-7 on penalties after both legs ended 1-1.

Guan United have also made into the third round of the competition after winning their match against Atebubu Esperance 2-1 on aggregate.

Techiman City, Berlin FC, Great Olympics and Asokwa Deportivo have all qualified into the next stage of the EC Cup Competition.
