Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng, says incoming Black Stars head coach, Avram Grant, will ease the burden on him after the Israeli penned a two-year contract with the FA.
Grant is expected to supervise training of coaches, holding of workshops, development and equipping potential ex-players interested in taking coaching badges.
Oti, whose job is to train and upgrade coaches, monitor the various National teams and report his work to the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association, says, Grant’s appointment will ease the burden on the Technical Directorate of the Football Association.
“If the three-member team came up with that appointment who am I to say no, I think that they are men of integrity and we like what they have done for the football Association.”
“Grant is a good choice for us, and we have to support him, I even think that he will ease my burden because he is a very good coach who will be able to hold some workshops and clinics for some of the local coaches.”
