The Chairman of the Black Satellites management committee, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer expects the Ghana Under-20 team to be placed in the group of death alongside Ivory Coast and Nigeria during the 2015 Africa Youth Championship draw in Cairo on Sunday.
“We should expect a tough group no matter what. We would have Ivory Coast or Nigeria. We need to play against crack sides or crack teams if you want to be among the best. I am sure they (CAF) will see the host nation and Ghana,” Osei Kwaku Palmer told Accra based radio station Starr 103.5FM.
Coach Sellas Tetteh’s side, which sealed qualification to the continental championship in August this year after defeating Gabon, will join hosts Senegal, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia for the draw.
