After getting a walkover against Sierra Leone giants East End Lions, Acting General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko is of the opinion plans for his team in the CAF Champions League remain unchanged.
Kotoko will face the winner of St George or El Eguma in the next round of the CAF Champions League after East End Lions pulled out due to fears of Ebola and their inactivity for the past eight months.
Speaking exclusively to sportscrusader.com, General Manager of Kotoko, Opoku Nti says the reigning Ghana Premier League champions won’t utter their plans ahead of their next assignment on the African Continent.
“It is good news for us because financially we will not be wasting the little that we have, the team was poised for action but now that they have confirmed that they are not playing us we will continue our preparations.
“Our plans will remain the same, keep playing and training and we know if we are able to up our games we can make the difference this season”.
