Coach of Okwawu United, Ibrahim Merigah has confidently stated that he knows the coaching job best, following his side’s semi-finals FA Cup triumph over Liberty Professionals.
Okwawu United on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi upset Ghana Premier League outfit, Liberty Professionals to reach the final of the MTN FA Cup.
According to Ibrahim Merigah, he varied his tactics to conquer the Scientific Soccer lads.
“I am the best coach. It is just that certain things are not in place,” the Okwawu United coach said in a post-match presser.
“I saw Liberty Professionals were playing the same formation as my team, so I re-strategized to contain them especially in midfield.
“Also I realised the team is built around Latif Blessing, so instructed a player to give him close marking and when he finally got injured, I told my players the game would go in our favour.”
Okwawu United are on the verge of winning the MTN FA Cup, with a former coach Ibrahim Merigah as the technical handler of the team.
