Malaga have confirmed the loan signing of AC Milan starlet Hachim Mastour on a two-year loan deal.
The Morocco international, 17, is regarded as one of the top young talents in Italian football and the move to La Rosaleda will be seen as an opportunity for the precocious attacking midfielder to develop in environment where he is likely to get more first-team football.
Both clubs confirmed the deal in the final hours of deadline day for Spain and Italy’s transfer windows, with Malaga having an option to purchase and Milan retaining a buyback clause.
“AC Milan can announce that it has completed the following outgoing transfer: Hachim Mastour was loaned for two years to Malaga (until June 30, 2017),” the Rossoneri stated on their website.
“The loan provides for the right of purchase for Malaga and the right to re-purchase in favour of Milan.”
Mastour is yet to make a senior appearance for Milan but was named in the matchday squad towards the end of their 2013-14 season.
