“I was part of that decision which was taken. Odotei is an experienced person in his own right and we believe such a person can lead the club to greater heights,” Mr. Tamakloe told Joy FM.

Explaining the decision to name Gerald Ankrah’s successor after six months, the former Ghana Football Association (GFA), Executive Committee member said the Club feel they are in good position to do away with Committees.

“When we started having problems initially, we put up a committee in place and where we’ve reached now we feel strongly that we want to go in for certain things — flotation wise so there is the need for us to have an MD [Managing Director] now because we can’t be having this sort of Committees all the time,” he said.

Hearts of Oak will be floating GH¢ 20 million.
