Accra Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has hit at the media for criticizing the decisions of the board, describing them as ‘foolish’.
The current administration of the club led by Togbe Afede XIV has been criticized by the media and their supporters for the team’s abysmal performance in the premier league in recent times.
Critics claim the autocratic leadership style of majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV is the cause of the clubs problems both and off the pitch.
Last season, Hearts of Oak needed a massive support from old board and management members whom many claim their ideas have been neglected by Togbe Afede XIV to change the fortunes of the club when they were destined for relegation.
Many believe had it not been for the old guards, the club would have been relegated.
But board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe in his response says most of the critics no next to nothing of what they speak against the board.
“Decisions taken by the board are discussed on radio and the thing is that most of these people who speak on these issues have no idea of what goes into the decisions we make,” he said during Hearts’ Annual General Meeting on Wednesday.
“They have free radio, and they talk foolish! With useless English being used and a pack of ignoramus.
“Let me assure you that we know what we are doing as a board and no one can kick us out of office.”
