Local Black Stars striker, Nuhu Fuseini is highly optimistic of Ghana’s chances in the second leg tie of the 2016 CHAN qualifiers against Ivory Coast.
The 2014 CHAN finalist defiles all odds to beat the Local Elephant 2-1 at the Baba Yara sports stadium last Sunday in a game that Ghana went down in the 38th minute mark before Asokwa Deportivo’s attacker, Joel Fameyeh saved the home side blushes with his brace.
Judging from the happenings in the first leg tie in Kumasi, one can conclude by saying the second leg in Abidjan will be extremely difficult for Ghana.
But New Edubiase and Local Black Stars forward, Nuhu Fuseini has a different thought as he is optimistic of Ghana’s chances in the second leg fortnight time.
“It was a difficult game but we managed to carry the day. They are a very good side, but I’m optimistic of our chances in the second leg,” Fuseini told Allsports.com.gh.
Nuhu who came in as a second half substitute during the game added: initially we didn’t know their play pattern, but we have seen them and our coach will map up a strategy that will make us maintain the lead when we meet in the second leg,”.
