Asante Kotoko’s Physical Trainer Awudu Nuhu, is highly impressed with Kotoko’s current form likewise the response and character that the players have shown towards their pre-season activities, adding that with this, he is convinced the Porcupines will be strong enough to withstand any test in the 2014/15 football season whenever it kicks off.
The hard working and longest serving Kotoko Physical Trainer mentioned that though the fate of the 2014/15 First Capital Plus League is yet to be determined by the GFA/PLB, the technical team is leaving nothing to chance in the preparations knowing very well that much is expected of them as defending league and MTN FA Cup Champions.
“We are still preparing and doing some maintenance for the season ahead. So far everything has gone well.”
“I am impressed with the fitness level and strength of mind among our players. I believe if things continue this way, we will be up to the task in every competition we take part in 2014/15 football season”.
“If you look at our team we have some players with little or no international exposure. Once they get the chance to play some international matches as we did three weeks ago in Togo, it will build their confidence and broaden their knowledge on the continent’s football.”
“All this will be to our advantage when we storm Africa next season” he added.
