Former CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club and King Faisal, Vincent Sowah Odotei, has made a scathing attack on the FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, saying that “no one is afraid of him”.
Odotei, known for his usual verbal outburst on the administration of the Kwesi Nyantakyi led Ghana Football Association, is one of the few individuals who have shown clear intentions of contesting the FA president next year when nominations open.
According to him, the FA President will receive the shock of his life during the next congress when the results are mentioned, as he is very sure that the ‘football people’ are going to vote him out of office.
“He Kwesi Nyantakyi feels that the GFA is his personal property so he does what he wants, but he will be shocked next year when results are mentioned and he loses the election because the ‘football people’ are tired of his tyranny and policies”, Odotei stated.
“I have been on the radio to say it and I want to repeat it again, nobody is afraid of Kwesi Nyantakyi and it will be in his own interest if he listens to the voice of the ‘people’ and resign because this time, the election result will not favor him.”
Odotei who sounded very confident, claimed that he had lots of evidence from many of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions in the country on several issues against the FA President and was only waiting for the right time to make it public.
“I know what I am talking about and I am telling you that we are going to kick Kwesi Nyantakyi out of power. His coefficient trick will not work again this time round so I am just advising him like a brother”, the former Hearts of Oak and King Faisal Chief Executive Officer added.
