NCC organiser slams Hearts of Oak Managing Director

Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee [NCC] organizer, Horoya Ismaila has hits out at the club’s Managing Director Gerald Ankrah stating that he can run the affairs of the club better than him.

It will be an unforgettable season for every Phobian as they had to struggle before earning board room points to lift themselves from the relegation zone with one game to end the current season.

And many soccer pundits and followers of the club attributed the club’s predicament to poor recruitment as the former premier league champions failed to compete with their opponents on the field of play as they struggled to win games both home and away.

However, with the seasonson getting to a close, the Phobians are currently 5th on the league log with 42 points via board room points they won over Asante Kotoko over the ineligible usage of Obed Owusu in their match day 25 fixture which ended 2-1 in favour of the Kumasi based club.

Despite the current position of the club, the national organizer of Hearts of Oak’s supporting wing, Horoya Ismaila is not pleased with the management style of the club’s Managing Director Gerald Ankrah stating that he can run Hearts of Oak better than him.

“We must blame our MD Gerald Ankrah for the club’s struggles this season because he was the person who supervised the transfer of the current players into the club, i can say 99% of the current crop of players in Hearts set up are rubbish and it is only five players that I can say they are good, they are Robin Gnagne, Soulama Abdoulaye and other three players.

“And because of the way the MD is running the current affairs of the club, I can run Hearts of Oak better than him if Togbe Afede should give me the chance because he is doing nothing to help the course of the club,” the NCC organizer told Asempa FM.

Hearts of Oak will honour their last fixture in the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League in an away game against WAFA coming this Sunday at Sogakope.
