Medeama SC former striker Nathaniel Asamoah says he will join a local club in the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
The 24-year-old signed a three-year deal with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca last year but series of uninspiring performances led to the cancellation of his contract.
Asamoah was reported be on the radar of Asante Kotoko before the start of the season but it never materialized.
“I want to assure Ghanaians that I will feature in the Ghana Premier League during the second round,” Asamoah told ATL FM.
“But I have not yet signed a contract with any club. I’m hoping to secure a team before the second round gets underway.
“I am keeping myself in shape and should be back in the next few months,” he added.
Asamoah finished second top scorer behind Kofi Owusu in the 2014-15 season, netting 18 goals.
