Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari scored a screamer for Al Ittihad on Tuesday in the AFC Champions League home game against Locomotiv.
The former AC Milan and Inter Milan player who started and played in the full duration of the game for Al Ittihad’s game scored from the edge of the penalty box to put his team 1-0 up in the 14th minute.
Al Ittihad got a corner kick which was poorly cleared by the defending Locomotiv. The cleared ball reached Sulley Muntari on the edge of the box who met it with a ferocious left foot shot into the roof of the net.
Locomotiv however did take something from the game with an 80th minute equalizer to share the spoils with Sulley Muntari’s Al Ittihad.
