Jose Mourinho has informed Real Madrid star that the door is open for him to move to Manchester United this summer, according to reports in Spain.

The Colombian attacker has come in for criticism from the Bernabeu crowd this term and he’s likely to be sold by Los Blancos this summer.

The former Monaco midfielder chose Madrid over Manchester in 2014 when he joined Zinedine Zidane’s side for £63million.

However, Manchester United have been linked with a move for the ex-Porto star – with Ed Woodward desperate to sign a ‘world star’.

Mourinho is believed to have a gentleman’s agreement to take charge at Old Trafford this summer and Don Balon claim that he has told Rodriguez that he would like to bring him with him to the Theatre of Dreams.
