Despite Techiman City playing a 1-1 draw against Asante Kotoko on match day sixteen of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, Charles Ntim, popularly known in football cycles as ‘Mikki Charles’ was objective enough to admit that Kotoko were the better side.
Techiman City took the lead in the first half through Stephen, before Amos Frimpong equalised for the visitors in the second half of the game.
Even though Techiman played home, Charles Ntim was not convinced by their performance and stated that Techiman City were lucky to get a point at home against the Porcupine Warriors.
“Kotoko were the better side and I must say that we were fortunate to get a point from the game.
“Kotoko were the best side to visit Nana Ameyaw Park. Although clubs like Hearts and Ashgold got a draw here they mapped up delaying tactics to frustrate us, Kotoko dominated play and rather put us under pressure,” he told Happy FM.
Techiman City currently sits 10th with twenty points and are yet to lose a home league game this season.
