President of Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker has expressed delight with his side’s pre-season form.
The Mauve and Yellows outstanding form came to light after their impressive display by thrashing the Black Meteors; the national Olympic football team by 3 goals to nil in a friendly game last Sunday.
The team has been preparing under the tutelage of new coach, Tom Strand and his assistant Annor Walker ahead of the start of the new season which has been delayed by a court action.
Medeama owner, Moses Armah Parker is pleased with the progress of his team in their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2014/15 season.
“I’m really pleased with how it’s all coming along,” said Armah. “Our players are finding their form and it’s good for us,” he told the club’s website.
“This team will do well this season if we continue playing like this. There are few additions and I believe they will fit into our style.
With Medeama’s splendid performance against the Black Meteors, the President of the club added: “I was delighted with the team. As pre-season goes well, we will be getting sharper in our movements and passing but, at this time, we are building up the resistance of players and getting minutes under the belt.
“In the first half, our passing was crisp and precise. We looked real threat at the top end of the field. I was also very pleased with how we defended. We are in good shape and I am delighted,” he added.
