Medeama depart Ghana for Tunisia for Al Ittihad duel on Sunday

Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have left the shores of Ghana for Tunisia ahead of their first leg CAF Confederation Cup game against Libyan side Al Ittihad on Sunday.

The Tarkwa based club left Ghana on Thursday night with a 31 man contingent with the leader of delegation being Western Regional Football Association President Kojo Yankah.

The game will be played in Tunisia because of the unstable political situation in Libya.

Below is Medeama’s 31-man contingent:

Goalkeepers: Muntari Tagoe, Michael Sai

Defenders: Samuel Adade, Moses Sarpong, Daniel Amoah, Paul Aidoo, Francis Addo and Patrick Opoku

Midfielders:  Victor Ayirey, Malik Akowuah, Joseph Gordon, Kwame Boahene, Kwesi Donsu, Eric Kwakwa and Emmanuel Yeboah

Strikers: Benjamin Bature, Abass Mohammed and Dominic Eshun.

Technical Team: Tom Strand-Head Coach, Amadu Nurudeen- Assistant, Abass Safianu- Welfare, John Cudjoe-Deputy Welfare, Nathaniel Attiboah-Operations Manager, Ben Owu-Goalkeeper’s trainer.

Management: Moses Armah- President, James Esirifi- CEO, Kojo Yankah-Leader of Delegation, Cecil Fletcher- Referee, Patrick Akoto-Communications Director, Ato Kwamena- Medeama FM, Ben Kesse – Administrative Manager.
