Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-Ud Dramani is determined to reach Group stage of the 2015 CAF Champions League after admitting there will be no excuse for another flop performance.
Kotoko are yet to perfume their domestic dominance in Africa after crushing out the last two edition of the Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors have been eliminated by Algeria side JSM Bejaia and Barrack Young Controllers of Liberia.
Dramani, who is feverishly whipping up his team ahead of the Champions League next year, says they are running out of excuses for constant failure.
“I think that all that we want to now is to break into Africa and this means we need to create. We have a responsibility as technical men, the players have a responsibility and the management as well,” Dramani said.
“We cannot just go and participate in Africa, but we want to make an impact we have dominated in the local scene but we think that it’s now better to venture into Africa and create a very good image for ourselves.”
