Aduana Stars have tabled a mouth-watering proposal for former Asante Kotoko manager Mas-ud Didi Dramani to become the club’s next manager, Sports5050 understands.
The 49-year-old will lead Fire club in the remaining games of the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup following the resignation of Nurudeen Amadu earlier this week, with his assistant Rahman Ameyaw also gone.
“Dramani is expected to meet the club’s owner Oseadeyo Nana Agyeman Badu in Accra this week in a bid to take over the club,” a source told Sports5050.
“He’s the top target after the resignation of coach Nurudeen Amadu and the departure of his assistant. With the investment made ahead of this season, the club’s top hierarchy want to appoint a well-established coach who can control the players since majority of them are stars.
“It’s their dream to recapture the league title again after the heroics in 2010 and Dramani recently did it with Kotoko,” the source added.
Dramani, who was recently appointed as the caretaker coach of Ghana U20 team, won two consecutive GPL titles and one FA Cup title during his two and half seasons in charge of Kotoko.
He also won bronze medal with Ghana U17 female team in the 2012 Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan.
