Speculation over Paul Pogba’s possible move to Manchester United has once again been ramped up after the Red Devils left the number six free when releasing their squad numbers.
The French midfielder has been consistently linked with a transfer to Old Trafford this summer, and a deal worth €125 million between Manchester United and Juventus is thought to be on the cards.
While Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola denied an agreement is already in place on Thursday, this latest hint has added more fuel to the rumours over his future.

The 23-year-old wore the number six jersey for the Bianconeri from 2012 until last season, when he took over the No.10 shirt from the departing Carlos Tevez.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils’ highest profile signing this summer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will take to the field with the number nine shirt, taking over from Anthony Martial who moves to 11. Italy international Matteo Darmien keeps hold of the number 36 jersey.
