Delvin N’Dinga was at his very best as Congo again managed to defy the odds and progress to the 2015 African Cup of Nations knockout stages as Group A winners.
Not many would’ve foreseen the Red Devils pipping Nigeria in qualifying but even fewer would’ve predicted Claude Le Roy’s men to then go on and top their group in Equatorial Guinea, something they achieved by beating the more favoured Burkina Faso and Gabon.
A pivotal figure int their 1-0 win over the Panthers, which ended their 41 year wait for a win at an Afcon tournament, the Olympiacos man but in another memorable shift as the Red Devils ousted the Stallions.
The 26-year-old is Congo’s driving force and had an industrious game in the middle of the park, working tirelessly to help secure all three points for his country.
Good in the tackle, superb in the pass and not to bad on the shot, as he showed in the second-half, forcing Germain Sanou into a fine save, Congo will be relying N’Dinga to guide them to the final four of the competition.
