Orlando Pirates midfielder Mpho Makola has admitted that it’s good to see the team back to winning ways and that he is happy to be contributing positively to the team’s success.
Makola is currently the club’s top scorer with seven goals to his name this season.
Makola scored the all important goal as the Sea Robbers edged Bloemfontein Celtic in their previous encounter.
“It’s good to see the team doing very well and to find myself contributing to the team doing well,” Makola told Goal.
“I am enjoying myself with the role the coach has given me in the team.
The Alexander-born star mentions that the support his teammates give to one another has been key in recent weeks.
“We are supporting each other as players and that’s why you see the results are showing off now.
“We are playing as a team and that’s the most important thing for the team right now,” the former Free Stare Stars player said.
Makola’s goal against Phunya Sele Sele took Pirates back into the top eight and they’re now seven points behind fourth-placed Mpumalanga Black Aces.
