Liberty Professionals want to be among the four best sides in the Ghana Premier League, according to club captain Samuel Sarfo.
The Scientific Soccer Lads currently sit fourth on the log after 14 rounds of matches, with the skipper believing they could maintain their position until close of the campaign.
The Dansoman-based club finished fifth last season.
“You know last season wasn’t that impressive, so this season, we have decided to at least put in more efforts,” Sarfo told Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“At the end of the season, we are looking forward to making it into the top four. The first round is almost ending, so we are taking it match after match.
“If we are to comply by what our coaches tell us, I think we can even overtake any [one above us in] the top four.
“We have been there before so we just have to go by what the coaches tell us.”
Coach George Lamptey’s charges take on Ebusua Dwarfs in their last match of the first round at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday.
