Liberty Professionals midfielder Ebo Mends has been named the club’s player of the month of February.
The 21-year-old shrugged off competitions from the remaining first team players to win the accolade.
He was presented with a brand new Infinix mobile phone by the club’s manager George Lamptey at the training grounds on Thursday.
Liberty played two games in the month under review, losing 1-0 to Bechem United on opening day and winning 2-1 against Inter Allies on matchday two.
Mend played full throttle in both games and provided one assist, without receiving a caution in the two games.
Liberty will lock horns with Wafa next weekend at the Academy Park in Sogakope.
