Bechem United midfielder Hans Kwoffie says his arrival will help the club survive relegation threats following a poor start to the season.
The 26-year-old former Medeama SC midfielder signed a short term deal on transfer deadline day as a free agent, from Omani giants Al-Orumah, amid interest from other suitors.
He says the Brong Ahafo club will help revive his career.
“I’m here to help Bechem United do well in the league and myself too. The club’s position on the log after the first round isn’t encouraging but with the help of the other players, we will change things,’’ Kwoffie told Fox FM.
“We will avoid relegation, that is the target for now and it’s possible too. I joined Bechem ahead of other big clubs who were interested in my services because I felt they are the club which was really serious and can equally help my career because I’m still young,’’ he added.
Kwoffie and former Liberty Professionals skipper Alfred Nelson were the big names among the eleven players that the club registered for the second half of the season this week.
Bechem are 13th on the log with 15 points, one point below safety.
