Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has been hit with a fresh muscle injury which could keep him out of action for one month, according to reports.
The 27-year-old Ghana international was on his way back from a lengthy injury layoff, with the Old Lady coach Massimiliano Allegri deeming his return to training as good news.
However, signs of fresh pains emerged while taking fitness exercise at the club’s base in Turin, reports said.
He was supposed to feature in his side’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina on Sunday. He was not used and may not be available any time soon.
After months of absence, Asamoah happily returned to action on December 4 when Juventus edged Lazio 2-0 in a Serie A encounter.
