Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is close to returning to training with Juventus after being ruled out with a serious knee injury for couple of months.
Asamoah returned to Barcelona yesterday for a check-up following his knee surgery in December.
Dr Ramon Cugat who performed the surgery said he is extremely satisfied with progress made by the midfielder and gave him the greenlight to start training in two weeks time.
The Ghana midfielder got injured during a Champions league game for Juventus and was ruled out for four months which made him unavailable for the just ended AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
The midfielder is expected to return to help Juventus to win the Serie A as the competition is getting keener.
