Mas-ud Didi Dramani in a meeting with the board and management of Asante Kotoko has been told to resign from his position as the head coach of the club, following series of poor results.
The league champions are lying 10 on the league log, after 7 league games, with 2 wins, 3 defeats and 2 draws and have lost their last 2 games against their biggest rivals Asante Kotoko at home and away to Ashgold.
The hierarchy of the Porcupine Warriors are unhappy with the recent poor run of the club that has influenced their supporters to call for the termination of Didi Dramani’s appointment as coach and in a reaction to that have informed the coach to resign.
However, Mas-ud Didi Dramani has vowed never to leave his post unless he is sacked.
Allsports.com.gh understands that the board and management of Kotoko have decided to dismiss the former Black Maiden’s coach, but are waiting for the return of the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who is outside the country at the moment, before they carry on with the sack because the Asantehene had a hand in keeping the coach.
Meanwhile talks are ongoing between the league champions and former Hearts of Oak coach, David Duncan to replace Dramani.
