Asante Kotoko striker Mohammed Dauda says he has returned to full fitness after being sidelined for six weeks at the start of the season.
The 18-year-old produced a fantastic run last season, becoming the club’s second top scorer behind Amed Toure but has failed to replicate that form this term.
He has been used mostly as a substitute, earning his first start of the campaign against Liberty Professionals a fortnight ago.
“During our last preseason, my confidence was high but injuries hampered my progress right before the start of the new season,” Dauda told Adom FM.
“So it led to a limited playing time and I was only making between 15 and 30 minutes appearances. But in our last league game against Liberty, my performance was good and I think I’m fully fit now.
“It is a turning point for me and I can work on that going forward [against opponents],” he added.
Kotoko are 10th on the log with eight points after seven matches and travel to the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday to lock horns with third-placed Dreams FC.
