Asante Kotoko top striker Amed Toure will be rejoining the outfit ahead of the new season following his return from Lebanon where he had a brief loan spell with Nejmeh FC.
The 28-year-old Ivorian was the Porcupine Warriors top scorer last season with eleven goals, which prompted his move abroad, but reports say the deal did not come to fruition.
Toure, who has confirmed his return to Kotoko, is currently on holidays in his homeland Cote D’Ivoire.
After preseason activities in Sekondi for about a week, the Porcupines will hold the final stage of their fine tuning in Togo ahead of the new season, according to reports.
Kotoko have acquired close to 10 new players as they look forward to annexing the Ghana Premier League after failing to defend the title last season.
