Kotoko secure slim victory over Inter Allies

Asante Kotoko have recorded their first home victory of the season in their Match-day four game against Inter Allies at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday.

Substitute Dauda Mohammed’s 58th minute goal was enough for Kotoko to secure all three points as they seek to defend their league title.

Dauda who came in after Jordan Opoku was substituted in the 55th minute, took advantage of a lapse in the Inter Allies defence to lob the ball over goalkeeper Osei Kwame.

The win takes Kotoko two points away from League leaders Ash Gold who will play their match against Medeama on Saturday.
