Kotoko players watch porn – Kofi Manu

Ghana Premier League Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko were eliminated from the CAF Champions League on Sunday after they were beaten by two goals to one by Algerian club MC Eulma at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupine Wariors who played a goalless draw away from home could not make the massive support on home turf count and squandered their lead as MC Eulma came from behind to win.

The loss by the Kumasi based club caused uproar from fans with security having to call for reinforcement as the players were taken from the stadium in an armored car.

The defeat for the Ghana Premier League coupled with Accra Hearts of Oaks’ triumph in the Confederation Cup ignited massive debates and post game reactions from fans and experts alike.

Status Committee member and former Chairman of Aduana Stars Kofi Manu popularly known as Blue Boy in an interview with Kumasi-based Sikka FM said the Kotoko losing the Champions League game was due to lack of rest on the part of the players.

Kofi Manu further made his point clear that the players did not sleep and even dared for a medical confirmation that the players did not have enough sleep.

“They don’t sleep and I’ll continue to say this … they don’t sleep, they don’t have enough sleep” Blue Boy roared.

The fact that the players lie on their beds did not mean they slept, Kofi Manu explained. The players spend their nights making phone calls, surfing the internet and watching porn, he further disclosed.

How can you sleep doing these in the night, he questioned.

The elimination of Kumasi Asante Kotoko comes as a huge blow to coach David Duncan who was appointed to replace Mas Ud Didi Dramani a few weeks ago.
