Acting Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Samuel Opoku Nti says the club is hoping for a good draw in next year’s CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors will be competing in CAF’s inter-club football competition for the third consecutive season, and are hoping for a good draw though they won’t mind any opposition given to them.
“We hope for a good draw. Though there won’t be anything like low profile or high profile match during the balloting,” Opoku Nti told Joy FM.
He added “If you want to be champion, you face all the big teams, so it doesn’t really matter – what matters is you prepare well and then face whoever you are drawn against.”
‘’You have to be ready for any team; so far as you’re going to participate in the CAF championship. Like I said if you want to be champion, you face those who are equally good like you.”
Asante Kotoko will be competing in the CAF Champions League as Ghana’s representative for the third consecutive season.
